| Where are we
now? Since we last left off, our would-be-protagonist has enjoyed Interloken, Bern, Berlin (part-2!), Rhine (Koblenz - Bingen, Frankfurt), and now Copenhagen. It seems to me that as my head gets more and more confused, my emails get less and less frequent and less and fun to write (and read, I imagine). The End Days Cometh! The first waves of this trip's end (although not precisely near) are causing a STRONG undertow and my silly self is flailing wildly for the shore. I wonder who, umm...no...WHERE I'll be in 2 months. They ask you that at job interviews, right? I suppose technically it is usually, "Where do you see yourself in five years?" Gadz...I'm struggling with where I'll be in just 2 months. (smirk) I honestly haven't a clue which country I'll be in just 5 DAYS from now. I can tell you that in 5 hours I'll likely be in Sweden (Stockholm). In 2 days I'll likely be in Oslo. Perhaps St. Petersburg (Dima's suggestion) in between. Buses, Trains, Boats and Other ways to get lost and tired. Realizing that the next bus to the dock would arrive at our station 6 minutes after the boat's departure, we got a lovely jog (with backpacks) through Koblenz. Later that same day (bad travel day), after having soaked too much sun whilst snapping at castles on the Rhine, we jumped off at the WRONG station and found ourselves at what Mom wants to describe as a ghost town....it was eerie, quiet, and well...fortunate that another train chose to stop some hour+ later.
