| So, After a lovely
day (with plenty of rain and plenty of sun) at Versailles, mom and I found
ourselves at a metro stop back in Paris. I needed to do laundry and I
thought she should see Notre Dame. I gave her instructions, including
go up these stairs, outside, enjoy Notre Dame, then return to the Metro,
take Line 4 in the direction of Port de Clignacourt, and get off at Barbes.
All was to go smoothly on her little adventure, but I also equipped her
with a map (big w/ roads and another medium sized with subways.) Add 1
metro ticket, and $7.33 in Francs. Can you say "Trial By Fire," boys and girls? I found out just moments later, but (Hey she just walked in!) still too late. that the line 4 is closed. All day.
