| I'm alive! I know it has been a bit since my last update. I hope no one was concerned. I'm back at the overly expensive, but horribly convenient, internet connection at the Friends Hostel in Paris. I don't know when you were all last updated, But after returning to Prague from Budapest, I found my way to Dresden Germany, where I chose not to find a place to stay, and opted instead to grab a couchette to Warsaw. After 2 days in Warsaw I went to Krakow, and then Berlin. Lance, who has finished his US architecture degree and is working on one in Berlin, led a fantastic tour of Berlin. Mom and I will be there Saturday. Intensely good time in Berlin (details suppressed) and for the first time I found myself with a stiff deadline (didn't want to leave mom w/o a guide in Paris) to meet. Made it Out of Berlin after 2 days, and arrived in Paris in time to catch an RER metro to the airport stop, a bus to the terminal and find her gate. She said, w/o guidance she would have made it to meet me at the Eiffel tower some time the next day. We are enjoying ourselves immensely. I've gotten to play tour guide (drawing on my whole 8 days of Parisian experience.) I've run out of coins, but I will leave you with what I presently believe to be our planned itinerary: 12: France: Versailles. 13: Switzerland: Interlochen. 14-17: Germany: Berlin, Insider Tour with Rachel and Diane. Then the Rhine. 18-19: Italy: Florence, Rome. 20: Portugal: City Unknown. 21: Austria: Vienna 22: Norway: Oslo 24: Return to Paris to mom can catch her flight on the morning of the 25th. 26: Umm...dunno...We'll see.
